What does anyone recommend for lupus treatment?

I have been suffering from Lupus that is flaring right now. I have hives that flare and are extremely itchy every morning over most of my body that stay all day. Not allergies. I've started getting lumps under my skin, too. I have some red, hot raised patches on my arms. My hands sometimes swell and my finger joints hurt. Hives will sometimes turn into small bruises the next day. The rheumatologist said he wants to treat it with chemo. I don't want to do that. Looking for alternative treatment.

Hello, there are nutritional and herbal supplements that may help alleviate the symptoms but a naturopathic doctor can also help you navigate the root cause of your systems and help to restore balance via immune modulation, hormonal imbalances, digestive health as there is a very strong gut-immune connection. Lupus is like many other autoimmune conditions which may have a preference for one side of the immune system (TH2) and immune balance may be a key component of the puzzle.

Hi, I know that Homeopathy has helped with Lupus cases. I have personally treated one case in my 15+ years of practice, but to help with your enquiry I have provided a link that a UK website explains the treatment. https://homeopathy-uk.org/homeopathy/how-homeopathy-helps/conditions/lupus Hope this helps you.
